SAN JOSE (KRON)--The body of a man believed to be involved in an apparent dispute has been found in a pond in San Jose.

 

KRON 4's Will Tran reports that authorities located the body of a man in his 20s in the waters near Blossom Hill Road and Sanchez Drive just before 9:30 a.m Tuesday morning.

 

The finding comes following a search prompted by a woman who reported spotting two men engaged in an apparent dispute in the water at about 5 p.m. Monday. The witness tells police that only one of the men emerged from the water. He has since been accounted for.

 

Authorities say it is unclear at this time if the second man's death is a homicide.

 

Police say they believe alcohol may be a factor in this incident.
