VALLEJO (BCN) -- A 57-year-old man was killed and three more wounded in a shooting at a Vallejo park Saturday night, police said.

The shooting was reported around 8:15 p.m. at Crest Ranch Park in North Vallejo, police said.

Police believe that at least person opened fire on the victims from a dark-colored sedan during a barbecue at the park.

All four victims were driven to nearby hospitals.

Police said the 57-year-old man succumbed to his injuries later Saturday night at Solano Sutter Hospital and a 67-year-old woman and 17-year-old boy struck in the shooting both remained in critical condition as of midnight.

A 35-year-old man also injured in the shooting received treatment for a bullet wound to his arm.

Police are withholding the identities of the victims - who are Vallejo residents - until family members are notified.
