SAN RAFAEL (KRON) -- A San Rafael man is facing felony charges after allegedly molesting a seven-year old girl at a birthday party he was hosting.

The victim's mother called police after learning of the alleged molestation.  When officers showed up at 29-year old Eduardo Nehamias Johnson Lopez's home in San Rafael he was gone.

Detectives say they managed to reach Lopez by phone and convince him to turn himself in.  Investigators say Lopez is also a suspect in a series of recent peeping and indecent exposure cases.

He's now in the Marin County jail on charges of lewd acts with a child, sexual battery, molesting a child and an outstanding narcotic warrant.
