PETALUMA (BCN) -- Petaluma police are looking for a man in his early 30s who sexually assaulted a 22-year-old woman while she was walking home early Sunday morning.
The woman was walking alone in the area of Lauren and Jeffrey drives around 2:20 a.m. when a man wearing a dark checkered shirt approached her from behind, police said.
He allegedly fondled her breasts and ran away, according to police.
The woman provided a description of the man, who is 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, about 160 pounds and has dark hair, which police linked to a similar description of a man who has been spotted peeping into female's bedrooms for the past few months.
Anyone with information about the man or incident is asked to call the Petaluma Police Department at (707) 778-4372.
