EL CERRITO (BCN) -- Police are looking for a man who robbed a Citibank branch in El Cerrito Plaza this morning, police said.
At 9:08 a.m. a man entered the Citibank at 280 El Cerrito Plaza and demanded money from a teller, police said.
The man then fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money and headed through the plaza toward Albany, police said.
Witnesses told police they saw the robber meet up with another man in Albany, where the two may have gotten into a car and driven off, police said.
The man who robbed the bank was dressed in dark clothing and was described as black, between 18 and 20 years old, about 6 feet tall and weighing about 170 pounds.
The second man was described as black, 18 to 20 years, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He also wore dark clothing and had his hair in dreadlocks.
