Created by Kimberlee Sakamoto on 11/24/2009 6:42:00 PM

OAKLAND (KRON) – The public is getting their first glimpse at the Oakland Zoo’s baby camels.

The half-sisters were born at the Gladys Porter Zoo in Brownsville, Texas. And though they’ve been in Oakland since August, they are just now being put on display in their new surroundings.

According to the Oakland Zoo’s website, the blonde and brunette dromedarys are less than a year old and are slowly being acquainted with two adult camels.
